HSA

An HSA (Health Savings Account) is available if you have a high-deductible health plan — and it's the only triple-tax-advantaged account in existence: tax-deductible going in, tax-free growth, and tax-free withdrawals for medical costs. Many people don't realize it can also be invested and used as a stealth retirement account.

Example: Contribute the 2026 family maximum of $8,750 while in the 22% tax bracket and you save about $1,925 in federal tax that year alone.
